TROPICAL STORM LISA DISCUSSION NUMBER 54
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
5 PM EDT SAT OCT 02 2004

SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT LISA HAS BEGUN TO BECOME
EXTRATROPICAL WITH THE CONVECTION LOCATED TO THE EAST OF THE
CENTER...WHICH IN FACT IT IS DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS PROCESS
SHOULD CONTINUE AS LISA MOVES TOWARD THE NORTHEAST ABOUT 25 TO 30
KNOTS. LISA WILL LIKELY BE DECLARED EXTRATROPICAL TONIGHT. IT
SHOULD BECOME ABSORBED BY A LARGER FRONTAL SYSTEM IN 24 HOURS OR
SO.
