DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Cindy was
located near latitude 16.4 North, longitude 53.3 West. Cindy is
moving toward the northwest near 20 mph (31 km/h) and this motion,
but a slower pace is expected over the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher
gusts. Weakening is forecast over the next several days, and Cindy
could become a remnant low or degenerate into a trough by the
middle portion of next week.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1001 mb (29.56 inches).
