DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 AM GMT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Don was located near latitude 34.8 North, longitude 44.7 West. Don is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue over the next day or so. A turn to the northwest and then north is forecast over the weekend. Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next couple of days. Weakening is forecast to begin later this weekend. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
