A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THE ALABAMA-FLORIDA
BORDER WESTWARD TO INTRACOASTAL CITY LOUISIANA. A TROPICAL STORM
WARNING MEANS THAT TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITHIN
THE WARNING AREA WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

AT 4 AM CDT...0900Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM MATTHEW WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 28.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE 91.1 WEST OR ABOUT
90 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GRAND ISLE LOUISIANA

MATTHEW IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 9 MPH AND A
MOSTLY NORTHWARD MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY. ON THIS
TRACK...MATHEW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INLAND IN THE WARNING AREA LATER
THIS MORNING.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. LITTLE
CHANGE IS EXPECTED BEFORE LANDFALL.
