ALABAMA-FLORIDA BORDER WESTWARD TO INTRACOASTAL CITY LOUISIANA.
THIS WARNING WILL LIKELY BE LOWERED LATER TODAY.

AT 7 AM CDT...1200Z...THE POORLY-DEFINED CENTER OF TROPICAL
STORM MATTHEW WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 29.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE
90.8 WEST OR NEAR HOUMA LOUISIANA.

MATTHEW IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 11 MPH AND A
MOSTLY NORTHWARD MOTION IS EXPECTED TODAY...BRINGING THE CENTER
FARTHER INLAND OVER LOUISIANA.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
MATTHEW IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN TO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION TODAY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 115 MILES MAINLY
TO THE EAST OF THE CENTER.
