DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Grace was
located near latitude 14.0 North, longitude 39.2 West. Grace is
moving toward the west near 20 mph (31 km/h), and this general
motion is expected to continue over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with
higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48
hours, and Grace is forecast to become a tropical depression on
Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
