At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten was
located near latitude 13.1 North, longitude 36.7 West. The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h),
and this general motion is expected to continue during the next 48
hours with some increase in forward speed by Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the
depression is expected to become a tropical storm on Saturday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).
