located near latitude 22.5 North, longitude 45.5 West. The
depression is moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). This
general motion is expected to continue through Saturday with a sharp
turn toward the west on Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Ida is expected to become a remnant low over the weekend.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
