At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fiona was
located near latitude 22.9 North, longitude 53.3 West. Fiona is
moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph (26 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of
days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h)
with higher gusts. Some weakening is forecast during the next 24
hours, and Fiona could weaken to a tropical depression later
today or tonight.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
