DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fiona
was located near latitude 23.8 North, longitude 56.6 West. Fiona is
moving toward the west-northwest near 18 mph (30 km/h). A continued
west-northwestward motion with a gradual decrease in forward speed
is forecast on Monday and Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next
48 hours, but Fiona could become a post-tropical remnant low in the
next day or two.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
