DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Lee was
located near latitude 13.2 North, longitude 37.3 West. Lee is
moving toward the west near 8 mph (13 km/h), but a turn toward the
west-northwest with an increase in forward speed is expected by
tonight. That motion should continue through Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Lee could
degenerate into a remnant low by Monday night.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
