There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM EDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Barry was located near latitude 41.0 North, longitude 83.2 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the east near 23 mph (37 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue today. The low pressure center and circulation with Barry is expected to become less distinct later today or tonight. Maximum sustained winds are near 15 mph (30 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1011 mb (29.86 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- RAINFALL: Barry is expected to produce additional rain accumulations of 1 to 2 inches in the northern Mid-Atlantic and southern New England.
