IVAN WAS LOCATED INLAND NEAR LATITUDE 29.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE 93.5
WEST OR ABOUT 25 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF PORT ARTHUR TEXAS.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 8 MPH. A SLOW
TURN TO THE WEST IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH... 55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
