SUMMARY OF 1100 AM AST...1500 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- LOCATION...25.2N 55.3W ABOUT 695 MI...1120 KM NE OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...50 MPH...85 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...ENE OR 75 DEGREES AT 15 MPH...24 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1000 MB...29.53 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Sebastien was located near latitude 25.2 North, longitude 55.3 West. Sebastien is moving toward the east-northeast near 15 mph (24 km/h). An east-northeastward or northeastward motion at a similar forward speed is expected through the weekend. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Continued gradual weakening is anticipated and Sebastien is forecast to dissipate by early next week. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 160 miles (260 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
