...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM EST
FOR TAYLOR...NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND MADISON COUNTIES...

At 932 AM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 miles south of Quitman to 6 miles southwest of
Madison to near Perry, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Perry, Greenville, Pinland, Jug Island, Ebb, Hamburg,
Lovett, Dekle Beach, Jack Lee Island, Foley, Salem, Perry-Foley
Airport, Hampton Springs, Sirmans, Shady Grove, Cedar Island, Fish
Creek, Iddo, and Howell Place.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EST for Big Bend
Florida.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
